Rental Turnover
Document condition and prepare a property for its next occupant.
How to use it
- Open Guided Actions and choose Rental Turnover. Name the workflow and save it.
- Plan turnover: Record lease dates, move-out date and preparation deadline. No tenant access is granted by this workflow.
- Document move-out condition: Record room-by-room condition and compare baseline photos. Document deposit evidence without assuming legal deductions.
- Coordinate repairs: Record contractors, tasks, due dates and completion evidence.
- Prepare access and move-in: Record key return, access changes and move-in preparation. Do not store access codes in shared notes.
- Verify readiness: Record final inspection and unresolved work before completing turnover.
- Link supporting existing records and add dated inspections, appointments or communications in Timeline and inspections. Save each dated record explicitly.
- Create follow-ups in the workflow to reuse assigned Maintenance and its recurrence/reminder controls.
- Owners preparing transfer or caregiver information can select linked records for a verified recipient's private copy. Review every selection; document originals use the separate curated package. Recipients accept while signed in; owners can revoke future access, but downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
- Save required outcomes before completing. Reopen with In progress when further work is needed. Workflow and journal records are visible to the household; no legal authority, coverage or payment confirmation is inferred.
Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
