Maintenance & Planning

Move In

Establish a home baseline at your own pace.

How to use it

  1. Open Guided Actions and choose Move In. Name the workflow and save it.
  2. Record the starting condition: Record move-in date, inspection results and existing damage.
  3. Capture rooms and equipment: Identify rooms, appliances and systems; capture baseline photographs.
  4. Review safety and access: Record detector checks, utility information, meter readings, keys and shutoff locations. Keep access secrets out of shared notes.
  5. Plan initial care: Record initial maintenance, warranties and service providers.
  6. Review your baseline: Summarize completed documentation and remaining work.
  7. Link supporting existing records and add dated inspections, appointments or communications in Timeline and inspections. Save each dated record explicitly.
  8. Create follow-ups in the workflow to reuse assigned Maintenance and its recurrence/reminder controls.
  9. Owners preparing transfer or caregiver information can select linked records for a verified recipient's private copy. Review every selection; document originals use the separate curated package. Recipients accept while signed in; owners can revoke future access, but downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
  10. Save required outcomes before completing. Reopen with In progress when further work is needed. Workflow and journal records are visible to the household; no legal authority, coverage or payment confirmation is inferred.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
