Caregiver or Estate Handoff

Prepare selected continuity information for an authorized trusted person.

How to use it

  1. Open Guided Actions and choose Caregiver or Estate Handoff. Name the workflow and save it.
  2. Define authorization: Record trusted recipient, purpose, permitted information and expiration. This does not establish legal authority.
  3. Prepare selected records: Review emergency, maintenance and equipment information. Remove credentials and unrelated personal information.
  4. Confirm handoff: Record delivery and verified acceptance of the reviewed package. Exported copies cannot be remotely revoked.
  5. Review ongoing access: Record household access decisions, expiration review date and revocation instructions.
  6. Link supporting existing records and add dated inspections, appointments or communications in Timeline and inspections. Save each dated record explicitly.
  7. Create follow-ups in the workflow to reuse assigned Maintenance and its recurrence/reminder controls.
  8. Owners preparing transfer or caregiver information can select linked records for a verified recipient's private copy. Review every selection; document originals use the separate curated package. Recipients accept while signed in; owners can revoke future access, but downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
  9. Save required outcomes before completing. Reopen with In progress when further work is needed. Workflow and journal records are visible to the household; no legal authority, coverage or payment confirmation is inferred.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
