Review a room photo or video walkthrough

Build inventory from saved room evidence, reviewing each proposed item before it becomes a household record.

How to use it

  1. Open Inventory → Rooms and choose the room capture workflow. Select the correct home and room before adding evidence.
  2. Add supported photos, or select a short supported MP4/WebM clip. Video uses sampled stills with source timestamps; review what was captured rather than assuming every object was seen.
  3. When recognition is configured, request candidates and compare names, quantities and identity suggestions against the original photos. Manual review remains necessary.
  4. Edit a candidate and associate an existing household item when it is the same physical asset. Review multiple views before merging; do not merge different serial-numbered units.
  5. Save only reviewed candidates. Check their room and evidence links in Inventory. Failed recognition is not proof that the room is empty; use manual entry for missing objects.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
