Edit property boundaries and exterior placement

Use Edit Property for property-level geometry and explicitly exterior items.

How to use it

  1. Open Property Map → Edit Property in the page header. The heading identifies the editing workspace.
  2. Use Edit boundary to reshape corners or enter the actual boundary width and depth. Click an edge to add a corner; right-click a corner and select Delete corner, or use the labeled corner controls on touch devices. Drawing scale adjusts automatically. Save boundary applies the change; Cancel boundary edit restores the previous boundary.
  3. Select a building or footprint and drag it, or use its positioning and rotation controls. Its floorplan and room-local coordinates stay attached; unrelated exterior elements remain in place.
  4. Only inventory/equipment explicitly assigned beneath a property location outside any building or room are eligible for exterior placement. Unassigned items are not assumed to be outdoors.
  5. Use the shared Auto save, Save changes, Undo, Redo and Revert all changes controls. Legacy room/unassigned property markers stay retained for reconciliation rather than being deleted.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
