Mobile Capture

Prepare records and synchronize offline work

Use the dedicated prepared workspace for supported edits and photo capture, with visible recovery and conflict review.

How to use it

  1. On a trusted device while connected, sign in, select the home and choose Page help → Offline capture and synchronization. Choose Prepare authorized records for offline use and check the preparation time.
  2. Before leaving connectivity, verify the required records are present. Open /offline when disconnected; other application pages are not guaranteed to work offline.
  3. Choose a supported record and edit its available fields, or capture supported inventory/system/maintenance records and photos. Existing project work must be prepared online. Choose Save locally.
  4. For prepared HVAC/irrigation, names and existing map geometry/calibration are supported. Create systems, zones and maps online first; map background images and device observations are not prepared offline.
  5. Review the Synchronization queue. Waiting or saved locally means the change is not yet on the server. Reconnect with valid editing access and inspect synchronized or failed status.
  6. For a conflict, compare local changes with the current server version and save a reviewed resolution. Map conflicts require explicit choices for simultaneous changes or deletions; no automatic overwrite is promised.
  7. Do not clear browser storage or sign out with unsynchronized work you need to keep. Local data is account/home scoped and cleared on sign-out; storage can be removed by the device and is not a backup.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
