Invite a builder and manage construction access
A household owner manages builder access to that home’s construction workspace while preserving project history.
How to use it
- As a household owner, open Building a Home and Your building team. Enter the intended builder email and choose Invite builder. New invitations require Ark+.
- New builder accounts use temporary invitation credentials and must activate within seven days. Existing builders retain their sign-in. Review the displayed invitation status before sending another invitation.
- Use Resend for a pending invitation when appropriate, or Cancel invitation to revoke an unused invitation.
- Active builder access is scoped to this household’s construction workspace. It is separate from ordinary household membership and from selected-task contractor grants in Projects.
- Choose Remove access and confirm when the relationship ends. Construction records, documents, decisions and history remain preserved. Owners can still revoke access when Ark+ is inactive.
- Builder-private notes have separate visibility. Review what is shared before adding sensitive information or selecting handover evidence.
Active construction collaboration requires the household’s Ark+ entitlement. Household roles and builder permissions still apply. Existing history is preserved when access changes.
