Understand plan limits, upgrades and downgrades

Review the active home’s effective plan and actual usage before choosing additional capacity or premium operation.

How to use it

  1. Open Homes & Plan and check whether your active home is covered by your subscription or another owner’s plan. Only the subscription owner can change its billing. The personal plan summary is not automatically the active shared home’s plan.
  2. Review storage, monthly document AI actions, assistant questions and per-home item/system/document usage. Limits and monthly periods are displayed there. The public pricing comparison uses the same approved plan catalog; configured services and permissions still apply.
  3. Free includes a useful record for one home, core search/sharing/manual systems/care/basic claims/export, limited records/storage/AI and full sample equipment previews. Ark expands one home’s capacity and adds established conveniences and advanced reports. Ark+ adds three standard homes, dedicated New Build households with construction and builder collaboration, larger allowances and ongoing supported-provider monitoring. New Build households do not use standard home slots.
  4. When an existing limit is reached, new additions or processing may be blocked. Review usage, use a manual alternative when available, wait for the displayed monthly reset or consider a suitable upgrade. Do not delete irreplaceable evidence merely to dismiss an upgrade message.
  5. A downgrade preserves access to saved records and authorized retained telemetry history; ongoing paid synchronization, paid processing or new additions beyond limits can stop. Free can view/complete saved routines, while creation remains an Ark/Ark+ feature. Basic claim records remain separate from paid preparation tools.
  6. Use basic export to keep independent copies. Security, privacy and reasonable owned-data access are not premium upgrades. Canceling automatic renewal preserves paid access until the verified end of the billing period; do not assume cancellation deletes records.
  7. Return to your original workflow from the guide or account navigation. Sample monitoring does not use provider credentials, create real readings or grant live Ark+ entitlement.

This guide explains effective existing rules. Internal premium recommendations and possible future integrations are not enforced entitlements.
