Check and monitor appliance recall candidates

Record the manufacturer and model, then open the appliance Recalls section and choose Check recalls now. New appliance saves attempt an initial check.

How to use it

  1. Record the manufacturer and model, then open the appliance Recalls section and choose Check recalls now. New appliance saves attempt an initial check.
  2. Review official CPSC notices. Brand alone is not a confirmed recall. Check model variants, serial ranges and manufacturing dates before selecting Confirmed applicable by household review.
  3. Not checked means no usable check has completed for this identity. No matching recall found applies only to checked sources. Possible requires review; confirmed reflects household review. Unable to check is a failure, never a negative result. Inspect last attempted and last successful dates.
  4. Daily recall monitoring requests scheduled checks for enabled appliances. Capacity, scheduled-job health and provider availability affect timing. Toggle monitoring and optional email alerts in Recalls. Emails also require enabled Reminder Settings and configured delivery. Acknowledge dashboard alerts after review; acknowledgment does not remove the recall notice.

Available with core home records on all plans. Record, storage and processing allowances apply; household roles determine editing access.
